The Root: The Source from Which Life Flows
A branch that is grafted in does not produce life on its own. The root is the source. It is the root that carries what the branch does not have within itself. The deep, hidden life. The root holds the nourishment, the stability, the memory of the soil, the original covenant of growth. It draws from depths the branch can never reach on its own. The branch cannot create this.
