Some garments are created to be worn. Others carry a heritage that reaches back thousands of years.
At One New Man Culture, our sacred tallitot are individually handcrafted in Israel, bringing together ancient biblical tradition, exceptional natural materials, and extraordinary craftsmanship.
Each tallit is created for one individual, with a unique combination of fabrics, colors, textures, and artistic details. We do not mass-produce our garments or repeat existing designs.

The Garment and the Commandment
The distinction is important.
The tallit is the garment. The tzitzit are the commandment.
In Numbers 15:37–41, the Holy One commands the Children of Israel to make tzitzit ("ritual fringes") upon the corners of their garments throughout their generations and to place a thread of tekhelet ("biblical blue") among them.
These fringes serve as a visible reminder of His commandments, calling the Children of Israel to remember and observe them.
While the biblical commandment establishes the significance of the tzitzit, the surrounding garment allows for variations in fabric, construction, and artistic expression, subject to the applicable requirements of Jewish law and tradition.
At ONMC, our approach is to create a garment of extraordinary beauty while respecting the ancient commandment it carries.

Every ONMC tallit begins with the careful selection of exceptional natural materials sourced from Israel and around the world.
Our collection draws upon luxurious cashmere, fine pashmina, mulberry silk, Italian silk, Israeli wool, fine Italian and European wools, and carefully selected kosher leather.
Each fabric is chosen according to the character, structure, and intended design of the individual garment, with attention to the applicable requirements of the mitzvah ("commandment").
Our designs may incorporate handcrafted leather atarot ("neckbands"), intricate embroidery, Swarovski crystals, and carefully executed hand-finished details.
From the selection of fabric to the final finishing, every element is thoughtfully considered to create a personal garment of honor, dignity, and beauty.
Authentic Tzitzit and Tekhelet
Our tallitot incorporate hand-tied tzitzit with authentic Israeli tekhelet, the distinctive blue thread described in the Torah.
The tekhelet we use is produced from the Mediterranean sea snail identified by many contemporary researchers and rabbinic authorities with the biblical chilazon ("the sea creature associated with producing tekhelet").
Commonly known as Murex trunculus and scientifically classified today as Hexaplex trunculus, this Mediterranean mollusk has become central to the modern revival of biblical blue dye.
Archaeological discoveries, historical accounts, rabbinic literature, and modern scientific research have contributed to renewed interest in the ancient Mediterranean dye industry and its relationship to the biblical tradition of tekhelet.
Although the identification of the biblical chilazon remains the subject of differing rabbinic opinions, this revival represents an extraordinary effort to recover an ancient tradition.
Our tzitzit are prepared and tied by hand according to established Jewish tying traditions.
An Ancient Continuity
The tradition of tzitzit reaches back to the generation of Moses and Aaron and has remained part of Jewish life through the centuries.
By the time of Yeshua HaMashiach ("Yeshua the Messiah"), fringed garments were an established part of Jewish religious practice. The Gospel accounts themselves preserve remarkable references to the fringes of garments.
In Matthew 9:20–22, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years approached Yeshua and touched the fringe of His garment, believing that she would be healed.
The Greek word used in the passage is kraspedon ("fringe" or "tassel"), a term also used in the ancient Greek translation of the Torah for the fringes commanded in Numbers 15.
In Matthew 14:36, people once again sought to touch the fringe of Yeshua's garment.
These accounts preserve a connection between the biblical commandment of tzitzit and the Jewish world in which Yeshua lived.

Our royal and priestly-inspired tallitot are contemporary artistic creations, not reproductions of the consecrated priestly garments of the Holy Temple. Nor does wearing a tallit confer priestly status. Rather, these garments celebrate the biblical heritage of Israel and the New Testament's description of believers as a royal priesthood in Messiah.
