The Garment and The Commandment

The tallit is the garment.

The tzitzit are the commandment.

What is created by hand can be designed.

What is commanded is not changed.

For this reason, every ONMC tallit is built around authentic tzitzit, made according to the commandment.

No substitutions.
No customization.
No compromise.

Every ONMC tallit is created for a specific person.

This is not a general product.

It is not made in advance and assigned later.

Each garment is designed, built, and finished with the individual in mind.

The structure remains true.
The commandment remains unchanged.

The garment itself is personal.

No two are the same.

No design is repeated.

Created once.
Never repeated.

The Commandment

“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put upon the fringe of each corner a thread of blue.”
Numbers 15:38

“And it shall be for you as fringes, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them.”
Numbers 15:39

“You shall make yourself twisted cords on the four corners of your garment with which you cover yourself.”
Deuteronomy 22:12

The commandment is clear.

The tzitzit are given to be worn, seen, and remembered.

They are not decorative.
They are not symbolic additions.

They are commanded.

The garment carries them.
The purpose remains in them.

For this reason, ONMC tallitot are built around authentic tzitzit, made according to the commandment, without alteration or compromise.

To wear them is to remember.
To remember is to remain aligned.
