Pitum HaKetoret | Holy Temple Incense

Pitum HaKetoret is our sacred incense handcrafted in Israel by One New Man Culture, following the ancient Jewish tradition of the incense associated with the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

This is not a generic frankincense blend.

Our Pitum HaKetoret is prepared from the traditional aromatic ingredients connected with the Temple incense tradition, including Balm of Gilead, onycha, galbanum, frankincense, myrrh, cassia, spikenard, saffron, costus, aromatic bark, cinnamon, and the other traditional materials used in the Pitum HaKetoret preparation.

Some of these materials are exceptionally rare and costly. Our preparation includes genuine Balm of Gilead, saffron, precious resins, roots, barks, and aromatic botanicals selected specifically for this sacred incense.

Each batch requires careful hand preparation, measuring, grinding, blending, and time. The individual materials are treated with attention before they are brought together into the final incense.

The Hebrew name Pitum HaKetoret refers to the traditional formulation and recitation associated with the sacred incense offered in the Holy Temple.

Its biblical and Jewish tradition is deeply connected with prayer, holiness, worship, remembrance, and the setting apart of sacred space before YHWH.

It may be used during prayer, Scripture reading, worship, reflection, and devotional times before YHWH.
